Material Types Overview
Infix PLA+ Filaments
PLA is a biodegradable, recyclable polymer made from fermented plant starch. It is widely regarded as the go-to filament type for the majority of 3D printing applications, as it is easy to print on almost any FDM or FFF 3D printers and has a high print quality with minimal warping.
Infix PLA+ has been carefully designed to increase strength and to lower the melting flow index (MFI) of normal PLA for better performance.

Infix PLA+ has been carefully designed to increase strength and to lower the melting flow index (MFI) of normal PLA for better performance.
The PLA+ Semi-Gloss range is the most versatile PLA+ 3D printing filaments we have on offer. Whether you are a hobbyist, a print farm operator or even an industrial manufacturer, the Semi-Gloss range will meet the majority of your demands.
Infix PLA+ Matte filaments are ideal for applications where accuracy and finish quality perception are needed. The matte finish helps to conceal the layer lines and highlights the fine details on a print. Functional parts also work great with this finish.
Infix PLA+ Silk range is a great choice for detailed decorative pieces. The formulation of the filament produces a satin effect that does a great job at concealing print lines.
Infix PLA+ Multicolour range is aimed for decorative applications with unique visual effects. Combinations of 2 to 5 colours with a satin effect are offered as well as an illuminated version for additional wow factor.
Infix PLA+ Fluorescent range is a great choice for path guide pieces or other applications where a glow in the dark effect is desired. The effect is achieved after exposing the filament to UV light, and it is temporary. Application examples: garden pathways, fire exit guides, childrens' nightlights, bar decorations, party pieces, etc.
Infix PLA+ Translucent filaments are great for applications where a certain level of transparency is needed. Illuminated products, such as lamps, lamp shades, or decorative objects such as vases or ornaments can benefit from this range of filaments.
Infix PETG filament is the usual material of choice for professional applications, due to its excellent mechanical properties and ease of print. It is a great choice for functional projects where mechanical strength, thermal and chemical durability are important. Recyclable and food-safe in its additive-free variant.
Infix TPU filaments have been developed for complex parts requiring a hardness shore of 85-90A with increased printing speeds of up to 5 times faster than regular TPU. The filament itself has a shore of 82D making it ideal in multi colour applications where an automated filament management system is used as it tends to not unwind of the spool like regular TPU would.
Infix High Speed PLA filament has been specifically designed to retain the features of the Infix PLA+ filament and to maximize printing speeds which can reach up to 500mm/s in the right conditions. It is most suitable for projects where manufacturing efficiency and detailed printing are required.
Infix High Speed PETG filament is a great choice for maximizing production without compromising on the mechanical properties and thermal and chemical advantages of Infix PETG filaments.
